I sit on the beach
eating crispy KFC
and a seagull, a winged rat,
flies over and
looks menacingly at me
like something out of
Hitchcock's The Birds.
Why are you
looking menacingly
at me, winged sea rat?
If I give you food,
you'll return it to me
on my head,
puréed, like some
gross thing people drink
on juicing diets.
